I'm an author, researcher, and professional development educator. I currently work as Research Director of WIDE World, an online professional development initiative at Harvard that has enrolled nearly 6,000 educators in 72 countries in courses that nurture self- and peer-reflection as a bridge to shifts in educational practice. I oversee all research and evaluation activities at WIDE World, including quality assurance, formative evaluations of WIDE World offerings, and outcome studies to gauge the effect of job-embedded and technology-enabled collaborative professional development on shifts in teaching practice and student learning in K-12 settings.
