1voteVygotsky's legacy is a lineage of researchers including his co-researcher Luria, then Leonti'ev. In the United States Michael Cole and others continued research in the Vygotskian vein and generated a field of study called CHAT - Cultural Historical Activity Theory. Luis Moll did his doctoral studies with Michael Cole in New York and then at University of California at San Diego.
