    Love them or hate them, interactive games — in this case, one called Alien Contact! — have moved out of the living room and into the classroom. What Chris Dede wants to know is: What potential does this have for learning in the classroom? Surprisingly, although Dede’s official title is ā€œprofessor in learning technologiesā€ and he and his team created Alien Contact! as well as another program, River City, he isn’t determined to find a positive answer to that question.
