    How are Stories Told? Stories find expression in countless ways. In addition to telling tales verbally, stories are told through writings, pictures, music, and dance. Analysts hold that stories are even told through facial expressions and body movements. In a traditional sense, stories generally have taken the forms of oral storytelling, visual storytelling, and song and dance storytelling.
