This is a brief story explaining the Maine's "laptop for every middle-
schooler" initiative. Though not a disruptive technology, it does relate
directly to our first reading in Disrupting Class.
Edtags.org is a website for educators to share and discover education-related materials. We hope that you will:

What is a bookmark?
A bookmark is anything you find on the Web with a URL (web address). You may also
turn your own files into bookmarks by uploading them to Edtags.org.

What is a tag?
Tags are keywords that describe your bookmark. You should add tags
to each bookmark you save to make it easy for you and others to find.
This page lists the most popular tags on the Edtags.org site in ascending
alphabetical order. The bigger the tag, the more times it was used to describe
a bookmark.

Want to publish your work quickly and easily to the education community?
Edtags.org allows you to upload almost any type of file to store
privately, with your friends, or with the general education community.
Connect with others!
When an Edtags member saves something that piques your interest,
click their photo or username to read their profile.
If you share similar interests, add the member to your "friends" list
to easily access their public bookmarks.
