    Political “dirty tricks” have been around since well before Donald Segretti was on the scene; but now they are emerging in the world of new media. To cite one recent example, there was the Web video that merged Hillary Clinton and “1984.” Is Web video, with its relative anonymity, the new home for dirty tricks?

    As Russia pushes for entrance into the WTO, the controversy regarding AllofMP3.com threatens to derail American approval. The US has elevated the digital download service to the top of its grievance list, citing the destination as a prime example of Russian disregard for international copyright. The US is demanding that the Russians close the site immediately, or again be rebuffed by the WTO.
