    This article describes virtual manipulatives and how they can be helpful in learning abstract math concepts. Virtual manipulatives are different from pictures and computer models because of their interactive attributes and manipulability.

    This site has every different imaginable applelet for every activity in math. It is organzed by grade level and then by math topic so you can very quickly access a virtural manipulative for the topic your class or student is exploring. It is a very easy site to navigate.

    The resources on this website were created in the Boston Public School District (BPS) as a part of an ongoing project that is partially funded by a No Child Left Behind state grant. One goal of our project is to provide teachers and students access to virtual manipulatives that directly support our district's math and technology curricula.
