    Many schools prefer the flexibility of online learning offered through virtual schools. The enrollment of students in virtual schools is also learning. Many virtual schools are able to offer courses that are not available at many traditional bricks-and-mortar schools.

    Beginning next fall, a new law will make is possible for every K-8 student to enroll in an online school. Enrolled students receive free computers and online service. State to pay $6000/pupil and thousands are expected to take advantage of this. Students must have enrolled in a public school first before switching to a virtual school.
